I love ALL things American, barring the politics etc, so the Jeep Gladiator was always going to be my vibe. It is over the top in every way. It commands a presence that no other bakkie in South Africa can. It has so many faults, but I might be willing to overlook them if just for the fun of it. Look, I wouldn’t spend this kind of money for it, but I would like to be gifted a Gladiator so that I can keep it at my holiday house (which I also still need to get) and only use it around the small seaside town. I don’t want to have to drive it on the highway, but I do want to cruise along the coast listening to the Beach Boys. Just living my best Gladiator life.
