Authenticity and the Isuzu D-Max

I hate when a bakkie tries to be something it is not. The Isuzu D-Max is not that kind of bakkie, it is what it is and doesn’t pretend to be anything else. I love that. It is authentically a bakkie. Lifestyle bakkies have stolen some of that charm away from these workhorses. I love that the D-Max still feels like a bakkie. Pricing for the Isuzu D-Max double cab bakkie range starts at R511 400 and goes up to R835 100 for the V-Cross. I forgot to mention it in my video review, oops!

Last week I didn’t manage to get a video up, but the week before that I was in the Hyundai Creta in case you missed it.

If you’re up for a chat, you can find me on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. And don’t forget to be a peach and subscribe to my YouTube channel and obviously follow me on TikTok.

I’m Julz, South African motoring journalist with a passion for cars and a questionable sense of humour. I am not your average motoring journalist, and this is not your average motoring website.
