The Volkswagen Golf R! I don’t think I need to say much more, do I? It is the fastest Golf ever sold by Volkswagen and I got to spend some time in it. Don’t be too jelly! Quick note, I slipped up in the video. The Golf R has 228 kW of power and not 248 kW like I said. I am allowed the odd mistake, you know. But now, here is the big question? Would you rather buy a Golf R or a Golf GTI? I know which one I would choose, but you will have to watch the video to find out what my choice would be. Some other exciting news, a report out of the United Kingdom claims Volkswagen is developing an extreme new Golf R Plus model set to top the upcoming eighth-generation Golf range.
