It’s not often I drive a car and truly dislike it, the Mahindra KUV100 was one such car. It pains me to admit it and I know some might disagree with me, but it certainly has a long way to go before this car can compete with what’s already on the market.
The Mahindra KUV100 does have a few good points, but the stop-start system is enough to make the decision for me. It can be switched off, of course, but it defaults back to ‘on’ when you restart the car. It’s far too intrusive and temperamental and on far too many occasions, the ‘start’ part didn’t work. I was stuck at the traffic lights apologising profusely to the agitated drivers behind me. The stress was far too much for me to handle. And there are enough stressors on the roads already to have to deal with one in your own car!
Mahindra has come a long way and they are certainly heading in the right direction, but they have a way to go before I would recommend the Mahindra KUV100 over some of its competitors.
